Ich bin Markus Tedeskino. Seit vielen Jahren fotografiere ich Menschen und habe mit unzähligen Auftraggebern gearbeitet; vor allem mit Zeitschriften, Unternehmen und Agenturen. Ich habe mit den kleinsten, aber auch mit sehr großen Budgets für fast jeden erdenklichen Zweck fotografiert. Viele Projekte erforderten ein Höchstmaß an Flexibilität hinsichtlich des Stils und der Mittel. Meist brauchte es auch viel Retusche, Composing und vieles andere, was Photoshop so zu bieten hat. Es war und ist eine wirklich spannende Reise; überwiegend kreativ und erfolgreich.
Während ich also meiner kommerziellen Arbeit nachgehe, vermisse ich mehr und mehr die klare und schlichte Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografie, für die ich schon immer eine große Vorliebe hatte.
Damit diese Art der Fotografie wieder mehr Raum in meinem Leben bekommt, habe ich beschlossen das Projekt THE GRAYN zu starten.
Für alle interessierten Künstler*innen und Kreativen. Für diejenigen, die genau so gesehen werden möchten, wie sie sind. Keine ausgefallenen Requisiten und Kleider, keine überwältigende Architektur oder Landschaft.

I am Markus Tedeskino. I've been photographing people for many years and countless clients, mostly magazines, companies and agencies. I've worked with lowest and also really big budgets for almost any imaginable purpose. These assignments required a maximum of flexibility in terms of style and expressiveness. It also required a lot of retouching, composing and everything that photoshop can do to meet the goals of these challenges. It has been, and still is, a truly exciting journey, as I've learned a lot and the work has mainly been creative and successful.
So, whilst pursuing my commercial work, I find myself missing more and more the clear, simple black-and-white photography that I’ve always had a great passion for. It was too rarely possible or in demand in my professional field.
To help this kind of photography regain its rightful placein my life, I decided to set up this project: THE GRAYN. For all interested artists and creative professionals. For those who appreciate being seen exactly as they are. No fancy props and clothes, no overwhelming architecture or landscape.
